Lal Hospital was founded by Sh. Rai Bahadur Kishore Chand Maheshwari in 1937 [CONFIRM WITH HOSPITAL: the old page also says 1935]. According to Sh. Pratap Chand Maheshwari, it was the first child and maternity care centre in Punjab. Today it is Unit-2 of Smt. Paarvati Devi Hospital, a multispeciality unit for Amritsar and the surrounding region.

Gynaecology
